About drei-de
drei-de is a 3D printing service founded in 2014, based in Wallisellen (Switzerland). The platform brings additive manufacturing processes such as SLS, SLA, FDM, MJF, SLM, SAF, Binder Jetting, MJM and DLP as well as vacuum casting and investment casting under one roof and provides over 100 materials – from standard and high-performance plastics (PA12, PA11, TPU, ULTEM, PEEK) to metals such as aluminum, stainless steel and titanium. In addition to printing, the service portfolio includes CAD design, 3D data preparation, 3D scanning with an accuracy of up to 0,025 mm, post-processing and finishing, as well as series production without tooling costs. Prototypes, functional parts, spare parts, architectural models and small to medium series are manufactured for mechanical engineering, medical technology, research, architecture, design as well as aviation and rail transport. Manufacturing is partly handled through a vetted partner network; drei-de remains the contracting party and central point of contact. More than 1'000 companies, including ETH Zurich, CERN and SBB, use the service.

Quality
Every model is analyzed for feasibility before production. Depending on the process, tolerances of ±0.1 mm (industrial up to ±0.3 % or DCTG 8) as well as standards such as ISO 2768-m are maintained; before every print, the customer receives a 3D visualization that can be measured online.
