The apt Group is a manufacturer of aluminium extrusion profiles and machined aluminium products headquartered in Monheim am Rhein. The company covers the entire value chain: from alloy consulting and in-house remelting through extrusion on six lines (up to 80,000 t/year) to mechanical downstream processing (around 20,000 t/year) with CNC milling (3-, 4- and 5-axis, component lengths up to 14.5 m), CNC turning, sawing, punching, forming, welding (MIG/MAG, CMT, friction stir welding) and assembly. Surface finishing includes anodizing (up to 7 million m²/year, profiles up to 8 m in length, including interior anodizing of hollow profiles) and powder coating (around 1 million m²/year). Up to 18,000 t of process scrap per year is recycled in the company's own remelting plant into round billets. With four production plants in Germany, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, apt supplies industries such as automotive, transport, construction, mechanical and apparatus engineering, electrical engineering and medical technology as a Tier-1 and Tier-2 supplier – from co-engineering and prototyping through small and large series to just-in-time logistics.

Extrusion
On six lines, up to 80,000 t of customer-specific aluminium profiles and products are produced per year.
Anodizing (E6, C0, color anodizing, interior anodizing)
Corrosion protection up to 8 m profile length and layer thicknesses of 5–25 µm, up to 7 million m² per year.
Powder coating
Coating with an annual capacity of around 1 million m² for durable surfaces.
