About AquaContour
AquaContour GmbH is a service provider specialized in technical cutting processes, based in Weilrod, and has been manufacturing components via waterjet and laser cutting since 2001. Waterjet cutting uses the pure water, abrasive, and micro processes; as a cold cutting process, the material structure remains without thermal influence, ensuring no hardening, distortion, or microcracks occur. Materials processed include metals such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze, and titanium, as well as plastics, carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFK), glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFK), ceramics, stone, glass, and other materials. Waterjet cut formats reach up to 3000 x 4000 mm for material thicknesses up to 120 mm, with a manufacturing tolerance of ±0,1 mm; in laser cutting, sheets up to 2000 x 4000 mm and 25 mm thickness are manufactured. The company views itself not only as a contract manufacturer but also as a consultant for process selection and cooperates with powerful metal processing partner companies. Customers include the medical technology, metal construction, electrical industry, plant and apparatus construction, sealing and manufacturing technology, as well as jewelry and watch industry.

Quality
Manufacturing is carried out precisely according to customer drawing or CAD definition with a tolerance of ±0,1 mm and cutting qualities from Q1 (cut-through) to Q5 (fine cut). When cutting composites, a pressure-controlled low-pressure start secures the structure against delamination and microcracks.
