The family business since 1905
Artur Schnabel GmbH is a family business founded in 1905 in Gablonz an der Neiße, based since 1946 in Kaufbeuren-Neugablonz (Bavaria) and today run by the third and fourth generation. The company specialises in metal stamping and centrifugal casting and produces around 30,000 items: traditional and fashion jewellery, souvenirs, promotional items, club supplies, tin miniatures as well as technical parts produced by centrifugal casting. Materials processed include brass (fully automated from 10,000 pieces, semi-automated for small series), tin in various alloys (including hard, flexible, radiation-shielding, food-safe), zinc for cost-effective small series, and plastic for 3D figures in small series. All products are designed in-house, made in the company's own toolmaking department and produced there; manufacturing also includes brazing, tin soldering, assembly, hand painting and material combinations of glass, plastic and metal. With self-developed machines such as the GMS950, three-dimensional tin cast parts up to 55 cm can be produced. In 2020, with support from the European Regional Development Fund and AHK Chicago, market development in the USA was begun.
