AS HÖTTEN Industries GmbH manufactures mechanical components in Dorsten in turning, milling and grinding with unit weights up to 7 tonnes, as well as components on CNC drilling and milling machines with unit weights up to 12 tonnes. The service portfolio also includes structural steelwork as a certified welding company, pressure vessel engineering and pipework construction according to AD 2000-Merkblatt HP0, special machinery construction, hydraulics (repair and new manufacture with its own performance test bench), as well as assembly, disassembly, repair and commissioning. Materials processed include steel, cast, Hastelloy, copper, bronze and special aluminium alloys; for the food and pharmaceutical industries, components with high surface quality are made from stainless steel. Customer industries include mechanical and plant engineering, rail vehicle construction (including railway axles in the -5 fit tolerance range), the food and pharmaceutical industries, pressure vessel construction, structural steelwork and nuclear technology/decommissioning of nuclear power plants (KTA 1401). The company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015, authorised by TÜV Nord for re-stamping of special materials, and is a member of the Kompetenzkreis Ruhr for mechanical and plant engineering.
