About Asanger Modellbau
Asanger Modellbau GmbH is a mid-sized, family-owned company based in Traun, Upper Austria, established in 1974, whose product range has been continuously expanded from classic foundry patternmaking. The company produces foundry models and moulds for gearbox housings, pumps, valves, sluice gates and turbines, rapid prototyping presentation and functional models, moulds, aluminium tools, fixtures such as trimming, bonding, tempering, assembly and drilling gauges, as well as tools for aerospace fibre composite technology. In the field of part finishing, the company specialises in the trimming of free-form carbon composite components, including monocoques, front splitters, rear diffusers, engine covers, rear wings and aircraft or multicopter parts; it also offers CNC bright turning of rim beds, small series of GRP laminates and complete assembly including painting. Production takes place on several 5-axis HSC milling machines and 2- to 3-axis CNC lathes in fully air-conditioned production halls, with CAD/CAM preparation and milling path generation using Cimatron. Customers come from foundries, the automotive industry, motorsport, deep-drawing and foaming industries, aerospace, and the packaging, electronics and fittings industries. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and trains model makers.
