About ASK Chemicals

ASK Chemicals GmbH, headquartered in Hilden, is a global supplier of foundry chemicals and high-performance industrial resins. The Foundry business unit offers consumables for foundries, including cold-box and no-bake binder systems, inorganic binder systems (INOTEC), refractory coatings, additives, risers, filters and release agents. The Industrial Resins business unit supplies phenolic and alkyd resins for applications such as abrasives, coatings, composites, friction linings, impregnation, insulation, refractory materials and wood. In addition, the company offers core production (sand cores and core packages from prototypes to high-volume series), 3D sand printing with its own binder systems, design and simulation services, as well as toll manufacturing. The company was formed in 2010 through the merger of the foundry divisions of Ashland Inc. and Süd-Chemie, operates a production and distribution network in 22 countries with around 1,400 employees, and maintains R&D centers in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa. German production and distribution sites are located in Hilden, Wülfrath, Bendorf and Fuldabrück.
