About Astego
Astego is a manufacturing service provider based in Offenbach am Main offering mechanical metalworking, heat treatment, investment casting (lost-wax casting) and custom engineering services. In the field of machining, the company produces components by 2-, 3- and 5-axis turning and milling as well as various grinding processes such as centreless, surface, cylindrical and internal grinding. The material range comprises steel, aluminium, brass and titanium. The in-house heat treatment includes case hardening (carburizing), annealing, quenching and bluing; in addition, components are pretreated by sandblasting. Through its own foundry, in which investment casting processes are used, and its own design department equipped with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and CATIA, Astego covers the entire manufacturing process from idea to finished component – from single prototypes to larger series. Production is carried out on DMG MORI machines.
