Technology in plastics – everything from a single source
AstroPlast Kunststofftechnik GmbH & Co. KG is a mid-sized plastic processing company based in Meschede-Enste (Sauerland) and has been part of the listed GESCO Group since 1995. The company manufactures technical plastic injection-molded parts and spools to customer specifications – from 1K and 2K parts and clear-glass products to components made from recycled plastics. The processing range covers almost all thermoplastics (including PBT, POM, PA, PC, ASA, ABS, SAN, PE, PP, PS, PMMA, MBS) with part weights of 5 to 13,000 g and clamping forces of 50 to 2,300 t on 26 injection molding machines from Engel, Arburg and KraussMaffei. An in-house toolmaking department with CAD/CAM, fill simulation and over 700 tools per year ensures manufacturing depth. The portfolio is rounded out by post-processing (mirror and ultrasonic welding), personalization, assembly of modules, steam conditioning and logistics. Customers come from construction, electrical, logistics, retail, medical technology and electronics; the DACH region, Europe and western parts of Asia are supplied.
