About Auer Lighting
Auer Lighting GmbH develops and manufactures optical precision components made of glass as well as coating solutions for the lighting industry. The portfolio includes lenses, Fresnel optics, multi-lens arrays, light guide systems, structured filters and gobos as well as technical glasses such as water meter glasses and MAXOS® sight glasses. Production is based on the in-house SUPRAX® borosilicate glass and special glass ceramics that withstand thermal shock loads, corrosive environments and high pressures. In addition, the company offers CVD and PVD coating processes as well as laser ablation for dedicated structures on filters and gobos. An Optical Design Service supports projects from the feasibility study through optical design to series production support. Customer industries include digital projection, automotive, architectural and stage lighting as well as industrial applications. Headquarters and production are located in Bad Gandersheim (Germany), with a further production site in Chennai (India), complemented by sales companies in the USA, China and Japan.
