About AURORA Kunststoffe
AURORA Kunststoffe GmbH was founded in 2009 and specializes in the economical recycling and upcycling of production waste from plastic processing. The main raw materials are highly sorted post-industrial sprues, defective parts, and scrap materials from over 200 to 300 suppliers. From these, the company produces ReGranulates and ReCompounds at virgin material levels, especially based on polyamides, PBT, PC/ABS blends, PPA, PPS, and LCP. The 5,000 m² compounding facility built in 2018 at the main headquarters in Neuenstein comprises five extruders with modern dosing and drying technology, as well as a development and testing lab, a grinding operation, and a logistics center. Approximately 50 tons of ReCompounds and ReGranulate are produced daily. Services include material procurement, disposal concepts, sorting of 2K parts, dismantling of metal-containing parts, grinding, and complete logistics via a Lean Logistics System with its own fleet. Since November 2019, AURORA has been a member of the MOL Group.
