About HILITE Bikes
HILITE Bikes is a bicycle manufacturer in Basel that has been designing, producing and assembling custom bicycles and frames since 2010. The three-person team led by founder and CEO Biagio Colletto produces 30–40 bicycles per year, including road bikes, gravel bikes, touring bikes and tandems, often with Pinion or Rohloff gearboxes and Gates belt drive. The Masterpiece line combines 3D-printed (selective laser melting) titanium lugs made of Ti-6Al-4V with filament-wound carbon tubes in structural adhesive bonding, or with seamlessly drawn titanium tubes joined by low-stress TIG welding. In addition to complete bikes, HILITE offers its own developments such as the Hibox shifting actuator for Pinion gearboxes, tandem forks and titanium luggage racks. Development, design, cutting, joining, finishing and final assembly all take place entirely in the workshop in the Gundeldinger Quarter on the Dreispitz site in Basel.

Additional services
Quality
Every frame is based on 3D bike fitting, parametric CAD and static calculation for the rider's weight; production takes place in the frame jig. According to the manufacturer, design, durability and fit are the central quality criteria of the workshop.
