The Company
B&E Antriebselemente GmbH in Bad Driburg manufactures drive elements made of grey cast iron and aluminium, including V-belt pulleys, flat-belt pulleys, timing-belt pulleys, poly-V ribbed belt pulleys, idler pulleys, pillow blocks, bearing flanges, bearing housings and screw-on hubs. Value creation takes place in-house: raw castings are produced in the company's own foundries and then machined in the in-house machine shop on CNC-controlled turning machines, CNC milling machines and drilling machines; balancing machines are available for compensating rotating parts. Custom-made products to customer drawings are part of the programme as well as standard products, complemented by machine handwheels and ball handles made of light metal to DIN 950, DIN 39 and DIN 98. Production is carried out in lot sizes from 1 to 500 pieces. Customers come from drive technology and mechanical engineering and are supplied throughout Germany and Europe. The company originated in 1928 as Käsemann and Schmitz in Alhausen and has operated under its current name since 2004.
