About BARKU
Barnstorfer Kunststofftechnik GmbH & Co. KG (BARKU) has been developing and producing technical plastic parts since 1977. The range of services includes precision injection-molded parts, profiles and pipes from extrusion, as well as assemblies and complete systems. On more than 70 injection molding machines (200–11,000 kN), components with a shot weight of up to 9 kg are produced; 13 extrusion lines process around 10,000 t of thermoplastics per year into profiles and more than 15,000 km of pipes. Materials include PVC, PP, PE, POM, PA, ABS, ASA, TPU/TPE and PUR, including 2-/3-component technology, insert technology and co-/tri-extrusion. The company also offers design (CAD/CREO, FEM), prototyping, in-house toolmaking, assembly and warehouse logistics from a single source. Key focus areas are poultry farming and greenhouse applications; around 170 employees produce in Barnstorf in three-shift operation on 67,000 m².
