BAUER GmbH is a family-owned metalworking company founded in 1966, now run by the second generation, headquartered in Südlohn (Münsterland) with a second plant in Halberstadt. At both sites, over 400 employees manufacture self-developed products entirely in Germany, including forklift attachments such as tipping containers, work platforms and lifting beams, solutions for operating equipment, environmental and hazardous materials storage technology, as well as hazardous material, recyclable material and waste containers. Production takes place as single-item and series production on a CNC-controlled machine park with laser cutting systems, fully automatic punching and laser machines, press brakes and swing bending machines, and welding robot systems, complemented by collaborative welding robots for small series and an in-house painting facility. The company's own research, development and design department accompanies products from the hand sketch through 3-D modelling and simulation to series maturity. In addition to standard sizes, BAUER offers customised special designs.
