About Bauer Thermoforming

Bauer Thermoforming GmbH & Co. KG is a plastics processing company headquartered in Talheim (Baden-Württemberg) with a branch in Heilbronn-Horkheim. Its core competence is plastic thermoforming (thermoforming/vacuum forming), including the twin-sheet process: nine thermoforming lines process all common thermoplastics up to a sheet size of 3300 x 2300 mm and a sheet thickness of 20 mm, and since 2010 also lignin-based bio-based thermoplastics. In addition, seven 5-axis CNC machining centers machine components up to 3300 x 2300 x 1000 mm with an accuracy of 0.2 mm. The range of services also includes plastic injection molding, zinc die casting including in-house toolmaking, finishing work, and the assembly of complex assemblies by screwing, welding and bonding — from project planning through development to production, all from a single source. Customers include companies from the automotive, medical, logistics and transport sectors; the established customer base includes companies such as BMW, Bosch, Daimler, Grohe, Kärcher, Magna, Porsche and Siemens.
