Beck Isoliertechnik has been producing insulation and heat protection mats for plastic injection machines since 1979. The company from Neckartenzlingen develops and manufactures heat, cold, and sound insulation, especially custom insulation and padding pillows, insulation sleeves, as well as special insulation systems and components. The insulation pillows are placed around the machine cylinder heating bands and secured with quick-release fasteners such as springs, grommets, hooks, Velcro, buckles, or straps; protruding parts such as heating band connections and thermometers are custom cut out. The insulation consists of age-resistant silver thread, a mineral wool or high-temperature inner lining made of technical needle board sewn into glass fabric, with an outer jacket of PTFE or silicone; temperature resistance is 500 to 550 °C, depending on the construction.
