About Becker Guss
Becker & Co Ges.m.b.H. (Becker Guss) is a metal foundry founded in 1914 in Mödling near Vienna, specialising in non-ferrous metal casting. The company produces aluminium, bronze and brass castings using sand casting, lost-wax casting (investment casting) and centrifugal casting – from one-off pieces and prototypes to small series. The service portfolio includes tool casting for the automotive industry (e.g. aluminium seat foam tools, on request with cast-in cooling pipes), technical precision parts, mechanical engineering components, housings and flanges, as well as art casting such as sculptures, monuments and memorial plaques. The value chain is complemented by 3D scanning, 3D printing, pattern making (wood, synthetic resin, plastic, metal), mechanical finishing/machining and surface refinement such as polishing, patinating, oxidizing (browning) and painting. Well-known references include the Alban Berg monument in front of the Vienna State Opera (approx. 5 m, approx. 2 t aluminium), the sculpture “Atemluft” (Breathing Air) by Xenia Hausner and brass decorative gratings for the Kaiserhaus in Singapore. Customers include industrial companies, architects, restorers and artists in Austria and the DACH region.

Materials & Casting Processes
Aluminium (casting)
Lightweight and corrosion-resistant, used for large-format sculptures, machine housings, flanges and architectural elements.
Bronze (88–92 % Cu, 8–12 % Sn)
Durable and weather-resistant with an elegant patina, preferred for sculptures, monuments and memorial plaques.
Brass (60–70 % Cu, 30–40 % Zn)
Warm, golden appearance and easy to machine, typical for decorative gratings, fittings and architectural decoration.
Non-ferrous metals
Casting of other non-ferrous metals according to customer requirements, from a batch size of 1.
