BET 2000 Bauelementetechnik GmbH was founded in 1973 in Schorndorf-Weiler and is a supplier of construction plastics and plastic semi-finished products based in Welzheim (Baden-Württemberg). The product range comprises acrylic glass (Highlux®, Plexiglas®), polycarbonate (Makrolon®), polyester corrugated sheets, PVC and composite panels, technical plastics made of PA, POM, PET, PP, PE, PVDF, PTFE, hard paper and hard fabric, as well as aluminium profiles, films, rubber sheets and fastening technology. In-house production includes plastic cutting with three saws, a computer-controlled cutting centre for longitudinal and cross cuts up to large-scale series and, since 2015, a CNC 3-axis machining centre. Customers come from the glass wholesale trade, the construction industry and mechanical engineering. With around 25 employees, approx. 8000 m² of covered space and 10000 m² of outdoor storage in Welzheim as well as a branch office in Riegel, the company supplies customers nationwide via freight forwarders and parcel services, and in southern Germany with its own vehicle fleet.
