biko-plan is a CAD engineering office founded by Konrad Biberger in 2006, based in Hofendorf near Neufahrn in Lower Bavaria. The office supports machine and steel construction companies in the fields of plant engineering, special machine engineering, industrial equipment, and steel construction. Construction is performed exclusively in three dimensions in CATIA V5, even in traditionally 2D-oriented areas, to simulate the functionality of fixtures and machines and detect errors in the design phase. As a result, customers receive a 3D data model or manufacturing drawings with a bill of materials. Upon request, construction is performed according to BMW Standard (CARISMA) with automatic bill of materials derivation. The service process includes initial consultation, concept presentation, elaboration of the design up to the drawing set for manufacturing, supplemented by plotter printing up to DIN-A0.
