About birkenstahl
birkenstahl GmbH, headquartered in Bischofsmais, specialises in the manufacture of food service equipment: custom-made stainless steel furniture, counter furniture and cooking blocks for gastronomy and commercial kitchens. The furniture is made from 1.4301 stainless steel, optionally combined with wood, glass and decor; base units are available with open cabinets, sliding doors, hinged doors, drawers as well as refrigeration and heating functions. In addition, the company offers contract manufacturing in sheet metal fabrication: 3D CAD design of sheet metal parts, laser and cutting technology for sheets up to 4,000 x 2,000 mm, combined laser and punching equipment, robot-assisted bending as well as edge bending up to 4,000 mm in length. Joining is performed by welding robots in series production as well as by TIG, MIG, stud and spot welding; this is followed by automated deburring, surface finishing and powder coating in RAL colours. The value chain includes complete component and module assembly through to the finished product.
