About Bischoff Textil
Bischoff Textil AG, headquartered in St. Gallen, has been developing and producing high-quality, exclusive embroideries for over 90 years, which are distributed worldwide. The products are further processed for the fashion market, in particular for premium lingerie and apparel (dessous), for medical products and in technical textiles. Production takes place at the plants in Switzerland, Thailand and Sri Lanka; a large share of the fashion embroideries is produced at Bischoff Gamma (Thailand) Ltd., a joint venture with Gamma Textile Mfg. Co., Ltd. The Swiss plant in Diepoldsau focuses on embroideries for medical products and technical textiles and also offers contract embroidery for third parties. In addition to embroidery production, the company rents out office, commercial and residential properties in the Eastern Switzerland region and operates a factory outlet store. Custom embroideries and special projects are developed according to individual customer requirements.

Otto Bischoff took over the embroidery export business Theodor Loepfe & Co. and renamed it Bischoff Hungerbühler & Co.
- 1930
After a merger, the company name was changed to Bischoff & Müller; production of embroideries for lingerie gained in importance.
- 1948
The company received its current name Bischoff Textil.
