About Blankart AG

Blankart AG is a specialised contract manufacturer of custom metal components and assemblies based in Volketswil in the canton of Zurich. With its own toolmaking department, the company performs processes including stamping up to 1600 kN, bending, deep drawing, impact extrusion as well as CNC turning and milling. Special areas of expertise include the processing of mu-metal for magnetic shielding, the production of stator and rotor laminations, and aluminium sample pans for moisture analysers and analytical balances. The in-house tool shop manufactures stamping and bending tools, including maintenance — also of third-party tools. The offering is rounded out by heat treatment as well as surface cleaning and finishing such as trowalising, ultrasonic cleaning, anodising, electroplating or painting. Customers come from, among others, analytical and weighing technology, electrical engineering, medical technology, mechanical engineering, and filter and fabric technology; production ranges from prototypes to large-scale series in the millions.
