About us

Blattner Werkzeugbau AG was founded in 1960 by the brothers Hans and Erich Blattner in Gretzenbach in the canton of Solothurn and is today run in its second generation by René Blattner (Head of Production) and Martin Blattner (Managing Director) as a public limited company. The company designs, develops and manufactures stamping and bending tools, progressive compound and progressive cutting press tools, fixtures and gauges as well as precision stamped parts from one-off pieces to large-scale series. Manufacturing comprises stamping, bending, assembly, deburring and thread cutting from raw strip material; in addition, contract work such as wire and sinker EDM, milling, drilling, coordinate and surface grinding as well as small turned parts and precision mechanics are offered. Materials processed include copper, stainless steel and brass. Customers come from the electrical appliance industry, medical devices, laboratory technology and the supply industry; the parts are used worldwide in switches, contactors, safety relays and motors. Surface treatment is carried out by selected partners.
