About BMF GmbH
BMF GmbH – Bernstein Mechanische Fertigung – was founded in 2007 as a family business and operates as a CNC service provider in Grüna near Chemnitz. Its core competence is customer-specific manufacturing of single parts, small series and prototypes on 3- and 5-axis milling machines, lathes and a laser processing center. In addition to machining aluminium and plastics, the company supports customers in planning and design for manufacture using CAD-CAM systems. The services also include vibratory finishing, ultrasonic cleaning, glass bead blasting as well as coordination of heat and surface treatments and assembly of complete assemblies. Through cooperations with a regional aluminium and precision casting foundry, prototypes made of metal and plastic up to series parts made of aluminium castings can be offered. In parallel, BMF develops and manufactures its own products, including automated film welding machines for truck tarpaulins and, since 2013, airless blast cleaning systems in series production.

Quality inspection is carried out using a 3D measuring machine including roughness measurements. Fully automatic loading and unloading ensures process reliability even during unmanned production (ghost shift).
