BMTEC Kunststoffe GmbH, based in Rheine, specializes in laser cutting, laser engraving and laser marking of plastics. On a 1200 m² machine facility with eight laser cutting machines, the company produces more than 150,000 semi-finished parts weekly; since its founding, over 25 million laser-cut half-finished products have been manufactured. The main materials processed are PMMA (Plexiglas®/acrylic) up to 20 mm, POM (Delrin®) up to 20 mm and HDPE up to 15 mm, as well as PETG, including light-diffusing special PMMA for LED applications. Parts can be delivered fully finished; via the CutWise online portal, customers receive a quote within ten seconds, with delivery times starting from five days. Customers come from mechanical engineering, yacht and shipbuilding, the automotive industry, medicine and the energy sector, including VDL, Brink Groep, Athom (Homey) and Gallagher. Quality is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and audited annually by TÜV.
