BOHN individuelle Pneumatik GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer of pneumatic cylinders founded in 1995 by Alfred Bohn and based in Oppenweiler near Stuttgart. The company manufactures custom pneumatic cylinders, telescopic cylinders, impact cylinders and hydropneumatic special solutions to customer-specific requirements, and since 2016 has distributed norm and standard cylinders of European origin. Production is carried out in aluminium, brass and various stainless steel alloys, including AISI 303, AISI 304, AISI 316, AISI 316L (1.4404, V4A) and AISI 316Ti. Depending on the application, sealing materials ranging from NBR to FPM (Viton) to special materials with low- to high-temperature resistance or FDA approval are used. The products are used, among other things, in the textile, packaging and printing machinery industries as well as in chemical, food and pharmaceutical plants. Production is possible from a quantity of 1 – from prototypes to large series – and the company also offers the reproduction of discontinued norm cylinder series as well as leak test fixtures for automotive pipelines.
