Bott GmbH Werkzeug- und Maschinenbau is a family-owned company specializing in precision manufacturing, located in the Grimmenstein industrial estate in Wolfegg, Baden-Württemberg. The company produces technically sophisticated machine components, punching, embossing, cutting, progressive compound, fine-blanking and deep-drawing tools as well as jigs and fixtures, special machines and machine components. Contract manufacturing includes CNC turning and milling, cylindrical and surface grinding, wire and sinker EDM, shot blasting, flat lapping, as well as measuring and testing. Materials processed include metals, light metals, stainless steels, plastics, cast iron materials, precious metals and carbide. With a vertical range of manufacture of 95 percent across more than 2,500 square metres of production and office space, prototypes through to small series are produced entirely in-house; the production equipment includes machining centers from Hermle, Okuma and DMG as well as wire EDM machines from Mitsubishi Electric. Customers include companies from the automotive supply industry, medical technology, furniture and household appliance manufacturing, and mechanical engineering in the Swabian Alb, Stuttgart, Lake Constance and Black Forest regions. In addition to contract manufacturing, the company develops and manufactures single- and multi-component scales for powdered goods as well as the in-house developed angle milling head for machining window profiles.
