Family business with industrial standards — contract manufacturing since 1889

Braitinger GmbH is a family-owned contract manufacturing company in Merklingen on the Swabian Alb, established in 1889 and today run in its fifth generation by Jürgen, Marcel and Pascal Braitinger. The company manufactures sheet metal and metal components as well as complete assemblies for industrial customers from mechanical engineering, steel construction and control cabinet construction. The core processes are CO2 laser cutting of steel and stainless steel up to 25 mm and aluminium up to 15 mm on sheets up to 3,000 × 1,500 mm, tube laser cutting up to Ø 273 mm, and robotic bending with 6-axis press brakes up to 320 t of press force. This is complemented by tube bending, roll bending, CNC machining, robotic welding (MIG/MAG, TIG), blasting, powder coating and painting, partly via certified partner companies. The Merklingen plant covers more than 6,000 m² of production space; more than 50 employees manufacture from one-off parts to series production, with delivery across Europe.
