About BRAUER Maschinentechnik AG
BRAUER Maschinentechnik AG is a family-owned mechanical engineering company with around 50 employees at its Bocholt site, specializing in the repair, damage analysis and new construction of industrial gearboxes of all brands, types and model years. The service portfolio includes in-house and on-site repairs, overhauls, assembly and commissioning as well as inspections with video endoscopy, infrared thermography, laser alignment and oil analysis. In addition, the company designs and manufactures special gearboxes – spur gear, worm, bevel gear and planetary gearboxes – as individual solutions or as reconstructions of discontinued model series with identical interface dimensions. On approximately 15,000 m² of total floor space, around 600 to 700 gearbox units are processed annually, with unit weights from under 100 kg up to 100 t. Spare parts such as gear teeth, shafts and gear couplings are manufactured to the company's own drawings; more than 1,000 positions of spare and replacement gearboxes, including for wind turbines, are kept in stock. A 24/7 emergency service rounds out the offering. Key industries are the energy sector, chemicals, rubber/elastic/plastic processing industry, foundry technology, shipping, paper industry, and stone/earth processing.
