About Bücker + Essing
Bücker + Essing is a company founded in 1963, part of the SERCOO Group, headquartered in Lingen (Ems) and specialized in the overhaul of gas and diesel engines as well as service for rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines and generators. The company performs around 600 complete engine overhauls per year, operates a power-pack overhaul line for rail traction motors and, in its own mechanical manufacturing, produces components such as crankshafts, engine blocks, cylinders and compressor valves – also as new fabrication based on drawings, samples or 3D laser scanning. The process spectrum includes CNC machining on a 5-axis boring-milling machine (workpieces up to 7 x 3 m, 13 t), grinding, honing, induction hardening, cold gas coating, wire and powder flame spraying as well as laser deposition welding. Materials include steel, stainless steel, aluminium, cast iron, grey cast iron, aluminium casting and tombak. Customers come from biogas and CHP, rail transport, commercial vehicles, marine, chemicals, petrochemicals, refineries, power plants and mechanical engineering. Mobile service teams carry out mechanical repairs on site worldwide.
