About Bürstlein Gusstechnik
Bürstlein Gusstechnik is a German investment casting company based in Landstuhl (Rhineland-Palatinate) with a tradition dating back to 1949, when it was one of the first investment casting manufacturers in Germany. Production takes place in-house using the lost wax process: all process steps are carried out at the foundry, from toolmaking via wax models, wax trees and ceramic moulds through to casting at around 1,650 °C. More than 200 materials are cast, including steels, stainless steels, aluminium, bronze and brass alloys as well as nickel-based alloys such as Inconel and Hastelloy. In addition, Bürstlein offers die casting (cold and hot chamber) in aluminium, magnesium and zinc in cooperation with certified production partners in China, with quality inspection performed according to German standards. The service portfolio also includes prototype construction, heat and surface treatment, and consulting already at the design stage. Customers come from industries such as automotive, mechanical engineering, aerospace, medical technology, defence technology and chemicals. In 2025, Bürstlein was named Supplier of the Year by KNDS.
