Production takes place entirely at the Steinau site: Powder detergents are produced using the spray mixing process, while liquid products are manufactured as mixtures, emulsions, and microemulsions; filling is done in big bags, sacks, small packaging, IBC, drums, and canisters. In addition to its own range, the company offers contract manufacturing and private labeling according to customer recipes starting from 5 t per year, including proven BurnusHychem recipes. A service laboratory for textile analysis (colorimetry, damage analysis, water and hygiene monitoring), customer professional seminars, and a network of process engineers in several European countries complete the offering. The company originated from predecessor companies founded in 1836 (Burnus) and 1881 (J. P. Haas, later Hychem) and has operated as BurnusHychem or Burnus Professional since the acquisition of Hychem.
