About Cartonia
Cartonia Wellpappen GmbH & Co. KG Verpackungen was founded in 1951 as a solid board processing operation in Dillenburg and has been part of the Peters corporate group since 1982. At the Breitscheid-Medenbach site, the company – which in 2002 became one of the first in the industry to abandon its own corrugated board production – developed into a processing specialist following the strategy of “printing, die-cutting, gluing”. The product range comprises around 150 grades of corrugated board and extends from classic transport and shipping packaging via erecting cartons to elaborate consumer packaging, retail and food packaging. Customers include companies from the food and non-food sectors as well as from the capital and consumer goods sectors; in addition, market-appropriate packaging solutions are developed, among other things, for positioning at the point of sale. In addition, Cartonia offers co-packaging as an external service and delivers throughout Europe. Operations were discontinued as of 30 September 2025.
