Chemopharma is a family-run trading company founded in Vienna in 1976, specializing in the international trade of raw materials and specialties. The portfolio includes pharmaceutical active ingredients (APIs) and excipients, veterinary pharmaceutical products, cosmetic ingredients, plant extracts, dietary supplements, as well as toners and colour formers for thermal and NC paper, and chemicals for the synthetic resin, plastics and paper industries. The company operates worldwide sourcing and global contract purchasing with a sales focus on Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Logistics are handled via GDP-certified warehouses near Vienna (Fischamend), in Hamburg (Neu Wulmstorf) and Istanbul (Gebze), as well as a sourcing office in China. The group includes subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Serbia and Turkey, as well as liaison offices among others in Minsk, Moscow and Algiers. Approximately 25 employees work at the headquarters in Vienna-Reindorfgasse.
