About CNC-Fertigung Stefan Ramm

CNC-Fertigung Stefan Ramm is a sole proprietorship for machining technology founded in 2015 and based in Hürtgenwald in the Eifel region. The company produces turned and milled parts to customer drawings, from single parts through prototypes and small series to large-scale series, as well as contract work and tool manufacturing. The processes include CNC milling (3-axis, up to 1200 x 500 x 400 mm), CNC turning up to Ø 400 x 700 mm, turn-mill machining with driven tools up to Ø 230 x 700 mm, conventional turning, and sawing up to Ø 260 mm. Materials machined include steel, stainless steel, plastics and non-ferrous metals, including aluminium. Through long-standing regional partners, surface finishing (anodizing, chrome plating, electroless nickel plating, black oxide finishing, zinc plating) and heat treatment (case hardening, nitriding, induction hardening, tempering, among others) are additionally offered. Main industries are mechanical engineering and general machining technology.

Materials and Processes

St

Steel

Standard material of the contract manufacturing for turned, milled and sawn parts, suitable for tempering and case hardening.

Edelstahl

Stainless steel

For corrosion-resistant components; even small parts can be blackened (black oxide finished).

Ku

Plastic

Machining of machinable plastics for technical parts to drawing.

NE

Non-ferrous metal

Machining of non-ferrous metals such as aluminium on turning and milling machines.

Al

Aluminium

Lightweight components, subsequently anodizable (protection and decoration).

Cu

Copper

Electrically conductive non-ferrous metal, well machinable (according to the FAQ also relevant for EDM).

Ms

Brass

Easily machinable non-ferrous metal for turned and milled parts.
