CNC-STEP is a German machine manufacturer based in Kevelaer that produces CNC-controlled milling machines, gantry milling machines, engraving machines as well as waterjet and plasma cutting systems. The best-selling High-Z series, developed in 2004 and marketed since February 2005, is continuously improved, as are the T-Rex gantry mill and the XL milling machine RaptorX-SL with working areas up to 12,000 x 3,000 mm. The product range also includes the industrial milling machine AceroDURO, the Plesio waterjet cutting system with a HAMMELMANN high-pressure pump, the PlasCUT-1350 plasma cutter and the GranitoGrav photo engraving machine. In addition, the company offers custom machine building up to 12 x 4 m, automation solutions, CAD/CAM software (ConstruCAM-3D Eco, KinetiC-NC), demonstrations and financing. The machines operate without G-code programming or lengthy parameterization and are suitable for Windows and Linux. On 2,850 m² of production and warehouse space, more than 11,600 machines have been sold to 130 countries.
