About CNC-Kress
CNC-Zerspanungstechnik Kress GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1948 by Wilhelm Kress and is a service provider for demanding CNC manufacturing work at its Oberzent (Beerfelden) site. The company produces bar-fed turned parts (3 to 8 axes, Ø 10–65 mm, up to 450 mm in length) as well as chuck-turned parts (2 and 4 axes, Ø 20–300 mm, up to 1000 mm in length) and mills on 3, 4 and 5 axes, including 5-axis simultaneous milling with the CAD/CAM system OPEN MIND hyperMILL. In addition to single-part production from prototype to large series, the service portfolio includes the manufacture and assembly of assemblies including design, documentation and final inspection. Materials are steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. In addition, surface treatments such as galvanizing, chrome plating, nickel plating, anodizing, powder coating and glass bead blasting as well as material treatments such as case hardening, hardening and tempering, induction hardening and gas nitriding are offered. Customers are machining and metalworking industries.
