Precision Out of Conviction
Comateq GmbH was founded in 2002 in Engelskirchen and has been based at its Cochstedt site in Saxony-Anhalt since 2013. The company combines CNC machining with engineering expertise and manufactures precision components from single-part production through to series — from 5-axis simultaneous milling and turn-mill complete machining to gantry milling of workpieces up to 12 m in length. The machine fleet comprises 14 CNC machines from DMG MORI, Hermle, JOBS, Sauer, DMT and Weiler, some with pallet changers for automated production. In addition to contract manufacturing to drawing, Comateq offers solution engineering from consulting through to the production-ready prototype, including design, material procurement, surface finishing and assembly of subassemblies. Since 2023, additive manufacturing processes such as SLS, SLA and FDM have also been used in prototyping.
