About Compounds AG
Compounds AG, based in Pfäffikon ZH, develops and produces custom rubber compounds, unvulcanized rubber sheets and vulcanized profiles. The company was formed in 2007 as a spin-off of the Compounds business unit of Huber+Suhner AG and looks back on more than 100 years of experience in elastomer development, beginning with cable insulation compounds around 1900. Manufacturing includes extrusion with various extruders, steam vulcanization for small to medium series, discontinuous extrusion (taken over from Lonstroff AG in 2007), Roller-Head sheets, as well as compounds for injection moulding, compression and transfer moulding from 100 kg. Product lines include DragonFlex (halogen-free fire protection compounds up to EN 45545-2 HL3), AquaFlex (drinking water), SealFlex (profiles), SunaFlex and FoodFlex (PFAS-free). Customers are found in the rail sector, construction, apparatus engineering, drinking water supply and the food industry. Production takes place in the factory building in use since 2010 in Pfäffikon ZH with automatic raw material dosing and seamless traceability.
