About Design Engineering Zürich
Design Engineering Zürich GmbH (DEZH) is a development service provider based in Zurich that has been developing products in the field of mechanical design for over 20 years. Several hundred projects have been implemented for more than 180 customers, including Regloplas, Zünd Systemtechnik, Hexagon, Georg Fischer, Chemspeed, Mettler Toledo, VirtaMed and Distran. The service portfolio includes product design for consumer and capital goods with a focus on usability and aesthetics, engineering with 3D CAD and freeform modelling, plastics technology, systems engineering as well as calculations and simulations. In addition, DEZH offers interface design (GUI/HMI), prototype construction with mock-ups, functional models and volume models, consulting, procurement including purchasing via OEM and the Far East, as well as personnel placement of designers and engineers. For some time now, circular product development has also been offered, including workshops, life cycle assessments and CO2 balances following the cradle-to-cradle approach. By combining design and constructive implementation through to finished tooling data, competitive and manufacturable products are created.
