About us
Dress Werkzeuge is a family business founded in 1969, headquartered in Ötisheim (Baden-Württemberg) and specialised in the manufacture of chip-forming precision tools. The product range includes single-tooth cutters for copy milling machines, carbide-tipped and solid carbide circular saw blades, HSS metal circular saw blades, PCD tools, diamond-tipped circular knives, cut-off knives to DIN 4964/ISO 5421, milling and engraving chisels, groove and visible-surface knives, circular knives and rotary shear knives, segment and cut-off circular saw blades as well as TCT/CT thin-cut circular saw blades. Materials are mainly HSS, solid carbide, PCD, galvanically bonded diamond and alloyed steels such as EW 9 Co 10 (W.Nr. 1.3207) and chrome-vanadium steel. Special tools are manufactured to drawing or sample; the company also offers PVD and DIAMANTICA coatings. The products are used in the metal, aluminium and plastics processing industries, including window and shutter manufacturing, the automotive industry, mechanical engineering and steel processing. More than 2,000 customers in around 70 countries worldwide rely on the company, which supplies specialised dealers and industrial users.

Quality management
Quality management is organised as a management responsibility; quality assurance is an integral part of all processes from development through procurement and production to technical customer consulting. Carefully and continuously monitored manufacturing processes as well as analyses for early error detection - for example at the level of automotive industry requirements - ensure product quality.
