About Druckguss Westfalen
Druckguss Westfalen (DW) is a medium-sized, family-owned company based in Geseke in Westphalia that has been active in the die-casting industry for six decades. The company manufactures demanding, ready-to-install aluminium components using the die-casting process as well as zinc die-cast parts. The value chain includes consulting on die-casting-compatible component design, filling simulation for low-porosity castings, design and manufacture of moulds and tools, operation of casting cells with energy-efficient melting furnaces, and mechanical CNC machining on single- to four-spindle machines with three- to five-axis machining in automated production islands. System solutions with seamless component traceability complement the portfolio, including friction stir welding with subsequent pressure-differential testing and partial assembly. Main customers are the automotive industry with a focus on e-mobility, engine management, electronics and sensor technology; customers include Audi, Porsche, Volvo, VW, AMG and Daimler. Since 2017, DW has been manufacturing components for e-mobility, such as housing pans, charging booster housings and cooling plates. Location: Geseke (Schneidweg 37).

Quality
Quality management is certified to IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 (DQS); in addition, a certified energy management system to ISO 50001:2018 is in place. Testing methods such as pressure-differential testing and camera inspection, as well as spectral analysis and density index testing of the melt, ensure component quality.
