About Dynacast
Dynacast is a globally operating manufacturer of precision die-cast parts made from zinc, aluminum and magnesium alloys. The company produces small, complex and thin-walled components in multi-slide die casting as well as in conventional hot- and cold-chamber die casting, complemented by Thixomolding for magnesium, the Injected Metal Assembly (IMA) overmolding process, assembly of sub-assemblies and friction stir welding. A core element is in-house machine building: the machine building center in Germany develops the company's own die casting machines, such as the A2, A3 SIS and A340 multi-slide series for zinc, aluminum and magnesium. In addition, Dynacast offers engineering services ranging from feasibility studies and part optimization to in-house toolmaking, as well as electroplating and surface finishing. The German company, headquartered in Bräunlingen in the Schwarzwald-Baar district, belongs to the Form Technologies brand family (alongside Signicast and OptiMIM) and supplies industries such as enterprise technology/data centers, automotive, telecommunications, medical technology, consumer goods and aerospace through a network of worldwide manufacturing locations.

Materials and Processes
Zinc (alloys)
Versatile and economical; the basis of multi-slide die casting and IMA overmolding of small parts.
Aluminum (alloys)
Lightweight and durable; produced in cold-chamber die casting as well as proprietary hot-chamber multi-slide die casting (A3 Al SIS).
Magnesium (alloys)
High strength-to-weight ratio; processed in multi-slide die casting (A3 MAG SIS) and via Thixomolding.
ZA alloys (zinc-aluminum)
Higher-strength zinc alloys for demanding die casting applications.
