Ebert & Weichsel GmbH, based in Kirchberg (district of Stangengrün, Saxony), is a specialist in the development and manufacture of grinding and polishing tools for mechanical surface treatment. The product range includes non-woven abrasive and abrasive fabric tools such as flap rolls and wheels (working widths up to 3700 mm, special sizes up to 5000 mm), wave and pleated rings, grinding discs with fiberglass, plastic or wood backing, shaft-mounted tools, rollers, pads, disks as well as mini, file, short, narrow and wide belts. Non-woven abrasives and abrasive fabrics from renowned manufacturers are processed with grit types such as aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, zirconia alumina, ceramic alumina and diamond. In addition to the standard program, the company produces customized special solutions, converting (rolls, discs, triangles, arcs, strips, special shapes), belt conversions and small series from two pieces, also from customer-supplied material. The products are used for deburring, grinding, cleaning, polishing, matting and structuring of metal, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, strip steel, wood, plastics, glass, ceramics and printed circuit boards. Customers come from industries such as metal and stainless steel processing, wood and furniture industry, automotive manufacturing, printed circuit board production, medical technology as well as watch and jewelry manufacturing; a collaboration with 3M has existed since 1990.

Random-fiber non-woven made of synthetic fibers with aluminum oxide or silicon carbide as a three-dimensional, flexible abrasive for cleaning, deburring and polishing.
Abrasive fabric
Cotton or polyester backing with abrasive grain (including zirconia alumina, ceramic alumina, diamond) for more aggressive material removal.
