About edding Tech
edding Tech is the technology division of the edding Group, a German company founded in 1960 with operations in 110 markets. The business unit, founded in 2018, develops industrial marking systems: the edding compact printers comprise the in-line series 12, 25, Pro, IP67 and Pro IP67 for integration into production lines as well as the mobile handheld printers portable 12, 25 and 50. These allow text, logos, barcodes and data matrix codes to be printed on absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces such as paper, cardboard, wood, plastic, glass and metal. The systems are based on technology from Elried combined with edding's ink expertise and are 'Developed and Made in Germany'. Interfaces such as RJ45, MQTT, OPC UA, HTTP Request and TCP server enable connection to ERP and production systems in an Industry 4.0 environment. In addition, edding Tech offers easycheck, a software solution for electronic driving licence verification.
