EnChip – The Company

EnChip GmbH is an engineering consultancy for consulting and engineering services founded in 2000, headquartered in Nuremberg, emerging from Alstom turbine construction (formerly MAN turbine construction). The company works preferably in the fields of turbine construction, engine construction as well as fixture and special machinery construction. Core competencies are thermodynamic and strength design, 3D construction (CATIA V4/V5, Solid Works, NX) as well as static and dynamic FEM calculations including nonlinear analyses, creep processes and vibrations. In steam turbine construction, EnChip takes on complete tasks from design through construction of rotors, guide wheels and rotor blades to manufacturing placement and manufacturing support; references include retrofit and new development of steam turbine components from 6 to 800 MW. In addition, the company offers reverse engineering, the production of hot-pressed sheet metal guide blades, damage assessments and failure analyses as well as the construction of clamping, assembly, measuring and testing fixtures, among others for the assembly of the Airbus A380 vertical tail fin.
