About epis Automation
Since 1970, epis Automation has developed and manufactured custom automation solutions for devices and series machine building. The company acts as a system partner along the entire product lifecycle: from consulting, design and mechanical engineering to hardware and software development, and on to production, assembly, testing and logistics. Based on a modular technology kit, complete systems are created with control technology, HMI, industrial PCs, I/O modules as well as drive, measurement and control technology. Production of PCB assembly (including an SMD placement machine since 2024), prototype and series production takes place entirely in Albstadt. Epis serves industries such as laboratory technology, medical and dental technology, IPC, measurement and testing technology, joining technology, intralogistics, compressed air technology, plastics technology, woodworking and textile machinery as well as general series machine building. Development, manufacturing and testing take place entirely in-house under the company's own quality management system; since April 1999, epis has been certified to ISO 9001 and, for regulated industries, additionally to ISO 13485.
