Group of companies for plastics recycling
EREMA Group GmbH, headquartered in Ansfelden near Linz, is an Austrian family-owned company and manufacturer of plastics recycling machines and systems. The group of companies comprising EREMA, PURE LOOP, KEYCYCLE, UMAC, PLASMAC, Lindner Washtech, 3S, POWERFIL and plasticpreneur covers the full spectrum of mechanical plastics recycling: planning and engineering, development and manufacture of recycling systems, production of system components such as screws, barrels and filters, trading in used systems, and service. Thermoplastics such as PE, PP, PS, PC, PA, PET and biopolymers are processed – from clean production waste to heavily contaminated post-consumer waste. The technologies include extrusion with TVE technology, vacuum reactor processes (VACUREMA), melt filtration, washing and drying, as well as deinking. Recycling systems from the group are in operation in 108 countries and recycle around 26 million tonnes of plastic annually; since 1983 around 9,200 systems and components have been sold.
