About Ernst Boldt
Ernst Boldt GmbH is a family business founded in Hanover in 1909, specializing in the development and manufacture of individual folding cartons made from solid board and cardboard. The portfolio includes made-to-measure packaging solutions including design, consulting, custom printing and special effects. The print shop uses processless printing plates, mineral oil-free inks and a reduced-alcohol printing process. At the Isernhagen site near Hanover, around 35 employees produce approximately 100 million folding cartons annually, originally among others for customers such as Bahlsen and Pelikan. Now in its fifth generation, the company focuses on sustainable production with its own photovoltaic system, battery storage, solar thermal energy and heat recovery.
